Cromwell's Maryland State Report Card 

CVE Summer News:


Come attend an exciting and free camp for incoming 4th and 5th grade CVE students for 2016-2017 school year. Students outcomes will include the enhancement of creative and critical thinking skills through the completion of an Epic Build in Scratch (a tool designed by MIT), as well as the development of cognitive and visual-spatial abilities by learning the basics of how to play chess blindfolded.

This is just a reminder thaCVE’s Library will be open on Tuesday, July 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This is a great oppor tunity for any family that would like to exchange their summer check out books or just come in and get some new books for the second ½ of the summer. This is a drop in event, registration is not necessary.

Have you joined  Baltimore County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club? The theme this year is "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read". The program began in June and runs through August 14, 2016. Visit the library to read books, win prizes, and make a craft. To join the Summer Reading Club, visit WWW.BCPL.INFO/SUMMERREADING, or visit your local BCPL branch. BCPL is also offering a Bonus Challenge for Make a Difference to Children Week from Monday, July 18-Friday July 22, participants will receive a special prize, contact your local branch for details.

Once you have completed the BCPS Volunteer Orientation, be sure to print out your “certificate of completion” and bring it to the school office.
Volunteer training will no longer be provided prior to monthly PTA meetings.
